Class of 1961 – 50th School Reunion
Part 3 of 3 – Banquet at Elizabethtown College
Saturday, June 4
Conversation and reacquaintances continued during dinner.
These ladies were the ones who put this great reunion weekend together: Yvonne, Dolly, and Trudy.
They gave a beautiful flower arrangement to Shirley and Glenn Eshleman for giving us free tickets to Sight and Sound on Thursday evening.
Yvonne introducing our classmate Ed.
Ed put together a fabulous video/slide show recapping our school days at Manheim Central.
First these guys opened a time machine to take us back to those days.
We listened to music from the sixties as the video progressed.
The 1961 began fading just as I took this picture of an aerial view of our school building as it was in the 1960s.
School days revisited
Everyone stood to their feet when the video was over. It was amazing and quite easy to see that Ed put many, many hours into getting this together. He even gave each classmate a CD of the video.
Visiting continued following the program.
Our friend Arlene took this photo of me and Rachel.
Glenn and Cerwin
Judy, Londa, Shirley, Julie, Joyce, Jean, and Dolly
Eileen joined them for the next photo.
Some things never change, whether we are high school students or sixty-seven or sixty-eight-year-old women!
