The New Chapel is Almost Finished
July 11 to 15
Monday, July 11, I went to the International Office for lunch to celebrate Bunny O’Hare’s (left) birthday, and went back the next day for a staff meeting.
Cerwin asked me to take a picture of the newly completed International Chapel #2.
A few days later the interior was finished when vinyl flooring was installed in the chapel area. The living quarters is carpeted, but Cerwin wanted to try vinyl or laminate for the chapel area to see if it will wear better. Most laminate doesn’t survive cold temperatures, the reason he chose vinyl. I like it.
The two International Mobile Chapels. The one on the right is the newest. These are basically used for promotional work, but may also be used as temporary chapels at truck stops.
On Wednesday, July 13, we recruited the older grandchildren to help label the individual Highway News. The grandchildren were here for Cousin’s Week. Josiah did not have to go to work until lunch, so was also able to help.
