Taking TFC’s International Chapel
To the Truck Show, at Fergus, Ontario, Canada
July 21 & 22
(The reason I was not online for a few days last week.)

My view as I waited for Cerwin to get in the truck and begin our trip to Fergus.
The always familiar view of Three Mile Island shortly after we leave the International Office.
I enjoy driving beside the Susquehanna River in the early morning.
Crossing the river in the Sunbury area.
When I saw the name of this truck, I smiled because it reminded me of Trucker’s Sunday a few weeks ago when our friend Gene said that he wanted to drive truck for as long as he can remember, and when he was a child and heard from missionaries, he was afraid that God would call him to Africa – where he would have to drive a camel. This would have solved your concerns, Gene. You could drive for Camel Express. ![]()
We liked how the lighted cross on our grill reflected on the back of the trailer in front of us while we went through slow traffic after crossing the river.
Old vehicles always get my attention.
From Camel Express to Black Horse Carriers. I often wonder how owners come up with company names.
Oh, yes! Time for lunch.
A highlight of our stop here was having friends from church, Mark and Marilyn, pull in just behind us. We invited them to have lunch with us. It was good to catch up on their lives.
This very large rig crossed the bridge in front of us as we were coming toward the close of our drive for the day.
We stayed at a motel in the Buffalo, New York, area.
We crossed the border on Friday morning without any delay, and arrived at the truck show about two hours later.
We were given a great spot for the chapel – between the two show truck areas.
This truck drew a lot of lookers because it was for sale.
It was so dry and dusty, that this water wagon went by us many times a day.
We love going to this show, and spending time with Chaplain Len (seated next to Cerwin) and Sue (talking to a visitor) Reimer. Len serves at the Woodstock, Ontario, chapel and does the footwork that gets the chapel to Fergus.

More of the truck show tomorrow night.
