Winter Stuff
January 10 -12
Cerwin rarely brings the chapel tractor home, so I enjoy looking out our kitchen window and seeing it in our driveway. It was here because he had taken the newest trailer to a shop for some minor repairs, and was waiting for his appointment for a state inspection on the tractor.
It appears that Jesse is going to play GameCube for a long time, with all his snacks: crackers, a sip cup of milk, a small dish of brownies, and a diaper. When he saw the diaper in his bag of supplies, he picked it up, smelled it, and said, “I love diapers.”
What he really likes is the detergent and fabric softener smell.
He was here for the morning while his mom went on a field trip with his brother Jared.
He loves playing racing games.
The birds were busy on this day because they “knew” that snow was coming.
I wonder if they “feel it” in their bones. How do they know that snow is coming?
The pesky squirrel was also trying to store up food for the storm. Isn’t that a sorry-looking tail? Maybe he/she is old and loosing its hair.
It began snowing after dark on the 11th. The blurry circles are snow flakes that were close to the camera lens.
A footstep in the snow.
It wasn’t quite this dark when I took a picture of the sunrise, it was just a pretty result from the camera setting.
This was a more accurate picture of what the sky looked like.
It was a beautiful, snowy dawn.
By the appearance of the bird feeders, it was good they filled up on birdseed the night before.
The five inches of snow was beautiful and heavy on our bushes.
