Sunday Morning at Fergus

Sunday, July 24

Sunday (1)

Chaplain Len (left) prayed with the music group before morning worship.

Sunday (2)

I did not keep a program invitation, so do not remember the name of this fabulous group.

Sunday (3)

Their gospel music carried far across the fairgrounds.

Sunday (4)

Sunday (5)

Chaplain Claude (from Quebec) shared a dynamic message on the truth of God’s love for each person on earth.

When the worship service was over, I went to Kristy’s Catering (see first photo in this post) for a cup of coffee, and asked if she could hear our service. I asked because she was behind the stage.

She said, “Yes, I could hear it quite well.” Then added, “I never heard anything like that.”

Join us in praying that the “seed” planted in her heart that morning will cause her to seek to know more about God and His Word.

Sunday (6)

By noon there was a lot of activity in our area, as demolition derby vehicles began arriving…

Sunday (10)

Two o’clock was the official close to the truck show.

Sunday (11)

Following lunch I took one last walk around the grounds to look for photo opportunities.

Sunday (17)

The dark object in the center of the hubcap is me taking the photo.

Sunday (18)

On this one I positioned myself to capture the chapel in the reflection of the hubcap.

Sunday (19)

My final photo (from inside the chapel) before we prepared the rig for travel.

After that was done, the four of us (Len, Sue, Cerwin, and I) decided that we needed to do something fun, so walked across the field to the Demolition Derby.  Look for those photos tomorrow night.
