Rain!

Saturday & Sunday – August 13 & 14

 

 

Not many minutes after I got home from Harvest Meeting in the Barn yesterday, we received a downpour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then it happened again today – shortly after morning worship. This is the back window of our grandson, Nathan’s car, who was here to watch NASCAR in the “man cave.” The race at Watkins Glen, New York, was eventually postponed because of the rain.

 

 

 

 

Our spouting could not contain the the amount of water that was coming out of the sky.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The flowers on our crepe myrtle bush were hanging from the weight of the water.

 

 

 

 

I love catching rain splashes.

 

 

 

 

By the time the rain stopped this afternoon (the sun is shinning now) our gauge was just slightly short of four-and-a-half inches for the weekend.
