It’s cold, windy, and rainy outside, so it is nice to be inside, on a quiet Sunday afternoon, watching Oklahoma
Saturday
We left the house – about 2:30 in the afternoon – to attend a Transport For Christ banquet near Pittsgrove, NJ.
A few miles before our destination we saw lots of deer grazing in fields on the outskirts of the woods.
Since we were early, we decided to take a side road in order to drive at a more leisurely pace and look for more deer. (I love country roads!)
We saw several small herds like this…
…then turned around next to a pretty lake.
We got to Kountry Kitchen about an hour ahead of time – giving us plenty of time to put programs on the tables and set up the screen and projector.
We showed slides of the Truck Rally while everyone waited for the meal.
The music for the evening was an awesome duet by God’s Gift Ministry
Sam Rittenhouse shared his story, and how he became involved in TFC. Cerwin and I closed the program by giving a ministry update.
It was great to meet new people and visit with ministry friends we have known for years. We got home at 11:30 PM.
