A Family Party
Last Night, August 19
The reason for our get-together last night was that Roy’s mother (Barb) left and his sister (Mary) teal shirt on the right were visiting from Florida.
Deb planned the meal, so all we had to do was set the tables and have the juice and water.
Chris brought the ham balls.
I think Kristen made this corn salad.
Abby brought vegetable pizza (I could make a meal out of this!)
Abby also made the “dirt” pudding.
My favorite picture of the evening! This is what Jesse’s plate looked like after he went through the buffet line – until his parents saw it. Then he had to add a ham ball. ![]()
Jeff & Chris and Jere & Kristen’s children could hardly wait for the meal to be over to give their gifts (from their vacation at Chincoteague) to Deb and Roy.
To preface this gift, someone said that as soon as the children saw this they all said, “Roy!” Consequently Roy was not sure what to expect.
He relaxed a bit when he saw boxers.

Now it’s turn to celebrate Ian’s ninth birthday which is coming up in ten days.
Mark and Diane, I am sorry to have missed getting a photo of Josiah. He was just to the left of this picture.
Getting his ears pulled nine times by Uncle Jeff.
He seems to like this.
All the Disney characters are wearing glasses.
The girls surprised Deb with a birthday cake. Her birthday is two days before Ian’s.
Deb is the one who rescues baby squirrels and raccoons – the reason for the coons and squirrels on her cake.
Great job Jana in baking and decorating this cake.
Ian loves his new “dog tag” and is showing it to Jenna, Barb, and Mary.
It was an incredibly fun evening.
