More pictures from South Hall
While I was touring North Hall, Cerwin went to the Day of Prayer in Papa John’s Stadium. (I opted to stay inside because it was quite cold outside.) In this photo Sharon Benson is singing while her husband, Jerry, adjusts the sound.
There was free coffee and donuts for the drivers who attended. Cerwin took these three pictures with his camera.
Prayer by Joe Hunter, founder of Truckstop Ministries.
After both of us returned to the TFC booth, Cerwin took my camera and toured the hall with Gary Nussbaum (left). In this photo they are visiting with Bob (center) an executive with Roady’s, and Brent (right) an executive with Truckers’ News.
Cerwin liked this Studebaker
It has more than 1,000 horsepower.
This beautiful rig caught Cerwin’s eye.
Back at our booth, Cerwin took a few more pictures before returning the camera to me.
Four of the five TFC staff at the show are in this photo: Hank Rader, Gary Nussbaum, Me, and Pearl Nussbaum. Cerwin is behind the camera.
Gary and I visiting with a driver.
We shared our booth with the women of Chapter 61 – Truckers Against Human Trafficking. Notice their banner on the left. One of the ladies is sharing a pocket folder with a couple.
For lunch we took turns going to Gary and Pearl’s fifth-wheel camper.
Pearl preparing coffee
They have a beautiful camper. I took this photo from the bedroom.
Pearl made a different kind of soup each day (vegetable, tacho, broccoli & cheese). The soup for this day was broccoli & cheese. She also served sandwiches, fruit, and cookies.
Walking through the camper area as I headed back to the expo center.
