Sleepover, Gifts & Breakfast
Jenna’s Sixteenth Birthday
Friday, April 8 & Saturday April 9
A beautiful, delicious, raspberry ripple cake.
Jeff & Chris lighting the candles.
Jenna listening to the girls singing “Happy Birthday to You.”
Cake & Ice Cream
Settling in to watch a DVD movie that we projected onto the garage wall. (The hanging decorations did not hinder their view – only the cameras.)
A few went home because of jobs or responsibilities in the morning. I think there were eight or nine who stayed overnight.
I went to bed at ten thirty and never heard any of their fun and noise. They actually went to sleep at 12:30 a.m. – not bad for a girl sleepover.
Opening gifts in the morning
A neat umbrella
Beautiful, beaded eggs.
Jenna’s mother, Chris, had prepared a delicious breakfast ahead of time. I had only to put food on the table or bake it.
A Yummy French Toast Bake
An equally delicious egg and cheese Country Brunch
I heard one of the girls say, “Why is it that we only get delicious food like this for breakfast when it’s someones birthday?”
Several went home after breakfast, a few others stayed to watch another DVD movie.

Thanks Jenna for choosing our garage for your sleepover.
