Our Back Yard
Flowers and Birds ~ Part 3 of 3
April 14 to 21
Before we go to the back yard – this is the view from our kitchen window.
Our cherry tree is ready to bloom.
The weeping cherry is in full bloom.
Okay, lets go down the steps from the patio and head to the back yard – the woodsy part of our yard.
The bleeding heart is beautiful.
The hosta are young and light green.
I love to see ferns before they are unfurled.
Mayapples cover the floor of the woods.
Where there aren’t mayapples, there are tiny, wild violets.
Back on the patio, this pretty yellow tulip with a red tip looks like it is a bit beyond full bloom – meaning this is one of the last days that I can enjoy it.
Inside the kitchen, I captured a few more birds.
I can’t seem to get enough pictures of these brilliant gold finches.
I like this picture of a tufted titmouse.
