Road Trip – Day 5
Easter Brothers
&
Mabry Mill
Sunday, August 22
We weren’t quite sure how to find Beech Grove Baptist Church on Sunday morning, and our GPS wasn’t on the mark, so we were glad to see the church sign, and Easter Brothers bus as we arrived at this church – in plenty of time for the 10:30 a.m. service.
The pastor gave a few opening remarks before turning the entire hour and a half over to the Easter Brothers. This was a special homecoming service for Beech Grove Baptist.
If you are familiar with Gaither Homecoming programs and Jeff and Sheri Easter, Jeff’s dad is the one on the right. He also preached a powerful message following their concert.
We were blessed by this worship service.
Our next stop was Mabry Mill on Blue Ridge Parkway.
This is a popular place for lunch, so we had a twenty-minute wait before a table was available.
I loved the woodsy atmosphere outside the window to my left.
