Brethren Disaster Relief Auction
After walking around the Expo Center and getting pictures of most events, I reserved a seat on the front row so I was in a good position for picture-taking.
The view from my seat
Hanging a quilt for the backdrop. It will be the first quilt auctioned on Saturday morning.
Gary, a friend of ours thought there should be a picture of me – so kidnapped my camera while I was enjoying french fries.
I can see this fascinating marble chaser (designed by our friend Hiram Minnich) from my seat, and think our grandchildren would enjoy it – but expect it will sell well beyond my bidding range.
This chainsaw bear is directly in front of me.
5:00 p.m. – Duane Ness, Chairperson of the Disaster Relief Auction, welcomed everyone.
Opening prayer by Rev. Earl Ziegler
