A Successful Hunt!

Friday morning, October 22

Cerwin just came home from a successful morning hunt.

It is rifle hunting season for seniors and juniors – so he could only shoot a doe. He is now off to the butcher shop where we will get backstrap steaks (the best meat) and the rest will be made into sausage and sweet bologna. Yum!

He was hunting on a farm in the area. When he showed it to the farmer’s son, he said, “Great, that’s one less deer eating our crops.”
