The sun was shining when we left home, so we thought our area had escaped the rain – but it began raining about the time we arrived in town.
Cerwin is eating his sandwich in the background while I photograph our granddaughter Jenna (left) with three of her friends.
We went to the buildings where vegetables and crafts were on display, and where local businesses show their wares – getting us out of the rain.
This pumpkin weighed 670 pounds!
Our brother-in-law Marlin displayed his deer mount (upper left) in the Manheim Sportsman’s Club booth.
In the next building, our niece Melissa was watching her daughter Jamie clean their pigs’ pen. Melissa and Jason’s youngest daughter Kelci is sitting in the next pen where they kept supplies.

We love seeing the creativity of several guys and girls from our church who rent space, and use it for sharing the gospel. In this photo two guys are sharing “the good news” with the three young people on the left.
