Wedding vows

The celebration of the new family began with Kevin telling the Clappers –  parents and siblings of Beth’s first husband, Dave (who was killed in a plane crash) – that he would do his best to help Beth carry on what she and Dave began with their five children.

Kevin and Beth then hugged each child and gave them a token on which their family verse was engraved. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version).

During this part of the ceremony Debbie Adams (right) sang, “Find Us Faithful” by Steve Green.
