Overnight Guests & Youth Coral Program
November 6-15
Mary (daughter of friends) and our granddaughter Hannah arrived at our house on Saturday evening in preparation for a week-long Youth Bible School in our area. Another friend of the girls, Silvie, also stayed on Saturday night, then went to stay with a host family for the rest of the week. All three girls are from Maine.

Silvie in her spot – just before practice for the Youth Coral Program on Sunday evening, November 14.
Mary (second row – left) and Hannah center front as the group prepares for a practice song – mostly to get the sound correct for recording.
If I remember correctly, there were about 300 students – and most were in the chorus.
I walked around and took pictures during the practice song. That way I didn’t disturb anyone during the actual program.

I took this picture during the program – which was done in beautiful acapella.
Preparing to leave for Maine early Monday morning.
They were our overnight guests on Sunday night, November 14: Roland (brother to Silvie), Silvie, Hannah, and Ruth (sister to Mary). Mary went back to Maine on Sunday evening with a vanload of people (including her dad) who were in our area for the weekend.

It was fun having young people here, and I hope they will come back again.
