New Lawn Mower, Jeff’s Truck, & A Banquet
Saturday, May 22
Our (Cerwin’s
) new zero turn lawnmower arrived about noon.
He tells me that he wants us to be able to stay at our house as long as possible before having to move to a place with a smaller yard or an adult community. He said when he can no longer mow the yard, he will pay grandchildren to do it.
I teased him by asking if this is the step before having grandchildren mow our yard. He smiled and said it was. He is VERY pleased with the mower.
Jeff recently put seven-inch pipes on the truck he drives for White Oak Mills, then brought it home to wash and polish. He was anxious to show the pipes to his dad.
Looking good, Jeff.
Gloria was walking Buck when we arrived.

After leaving Jeff and Chris’, we went to Bunny and Peg O’Hare’s house – to take them to a TFC banquet near Northumberland, Pennsylvania.
Suzanne Gautsch was the keyboardist as the people arrived.
This was the first Susquehanna Chapter Banquet in many years. They had been having a summer picnic – which was dwindling in numbers – so they decided to try a banquet instead.
The organizers – Don & Nancy Goss and Glenn and Suzanne Gautsch – were pleased to have forty-five people in attendance.
The youngest (and cutest) person in attendance.
Bunny shared a TFC update, and Cerwin followed with a PowerPoint presentation highlighting chapel construction, chapel/chaplain testimonies, and the summer schedule for the International (mobile) Chapel.
Glenn and Suzanne’s daughter, Glenna Rearick, sang two songs while her brother-in-law signed the words.

We were pleased and blessed by the evenings fellowship.
