Gene and Rose Gehman and Cerwin and I went to Irwin and Joyce Groff’s (left) place to see Irwin’s trucks. However, Rose (right) and I were drawn outside by their beautiful patio, yard, and flower beds.

Come along as we walk around the yard where Joyce loves to work.

After we had seen her entire yard (some of it twice), we joined the men in the room where Irwin has his handcrafted trucks displayed.

Irwin is a retired truck driver who was surprised to find that he had a talent for designing these custom rigs.

I like this load of “steel”, which is really several slinkys.

If you want one of these custom-built to look like your truck, he can probably do it.

His blessing to TFC is this handcrafted, black resin, 379 Pete, all chromed-up. It is 23″ long, 10″ high, and 6-1/2″ wide. (1/16 scale)

It will be for sale at the TFC auction during the Truck Rally on June 26

Lebanon Exposition Center, Lebanon, PA

If you want more details about it or the Truck Rally email me at tfcner@dejazzd.com.
