Sunday evening, May 23 – A family supper at Jeff & Chris’ place.
Chris, Kristen, Jere, and Jeff
They told us about the truck accident that happened in their driveway the previous week. (Photo by Chris.) The driver was only slightly injured.
Jana, Diana, and Gloria found shelter under a tarp and umbrella during an evening rain.
Roy and Deb brought a small birthday cake for Jared.
Monday Morning, May 25 – Abigail, Jolene, and Korina loaded luggage and boxes in the trunk before heading back to Maine.
Korina preparing to hug her mom (Brenda) while still talking to her dad (Ron). She is serving a year of volunteer service in Lewiston, Maine.

Tuesday, May 25 – Jana made and decorated a cake for a book report project.
The book she read was The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It is based on the friendship of two boys during World War II – one lived in freedom while the other lived in a prison camp.
Friday, May 28 – Roy came to get Jere and Kristen’s five children and take them to our daughter Deb’s house. (He was going to get Josh at school.) Jere and Kristen left earlier in the day for a two-week business trip to Lativia and Finland. The children had been here most of the day. Josh will be spending the weekends with Deb, and the week days with us as he is still in school. School is over for Jana and Ian.
These three (Jared, Jesse, and Ian) will be with Deb most of the time. I will have them a few days when she has business meetings.
Jana will be with Deb most of the time, and with us several days, because there are some events in this area that she does not want to miss.
Yesterday, June 2 – Jeff stopped at the TFC office/shop to show his entire rig to Cerwin.
