Truck Rally

Saturday Morning – More Trucks Arriving

June 26 ~ Part 3

 

 

 

I love watching the trucks arrive – some I recognize from previous years, and others seem to be new.

 

 

Sometimes people ask us the purpose of the Truck Rally. It has turned into a nice fundraiser for TFC, but that is not the reason we put a lot of time and effort into making it a family fun day for trucking families.

 

 

We know that truckers are on the road for many hours and days each week, and need events that are fun for the driver, their spouse and children.

 

 

The easiest way to describe the truck rally in relation to the ministry that is carried on by TFC during the rest of the year is that it would be similar to what a church picnic is to a church fellowship.

 

 

I don’t always know the names of the drivers – but this one I know because he is our son Jeff.
