It’s Been a Busy, Wonderful Day
Sunday, July 18
We had two picnics at the pavilion in our woodlot. The first one, at lunch, was my dad’s siblings, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren (The Hershey Family Reunion). I counted eighty people and am sure I missed a few. (photos coming when I catch up to this date.) It was so much fun to see and visit with aunts, uncles, and cousins.
After everyone left (about 5:00 p.m.) we changed tablecloths, refreshed the water and juice containers, and added new candles to the small lanterns on each table. By six-oclock our Sunday School class came for our summer picnic. We also had a good turnout, with only a few missing. If I counted correctly, there were about thirty-six people here. It was a great evening.
Everyone just went home and I am weary and ready for bed. For that reason I am only posting one picture from our day in the Berlin, Ohio, area last week.
I took this picture on Thursday morning, July 8 – outside our motel.

Tomorrow night I will post the conclusion of our day in Berlin and Holmes County, Ohio.
