Ian’s Seventh Birthday Party

Look at that!  Cerwin is painting with his right arm.

This is good news for us, and we are pleased that Friday, August 28, was his last day of physical therapy.  He has full mobility, and just has to regain strength in his shoulder – and that will come with time.

It has been almost four months since his fall, and next week it will be three months since his rotator cuff surgery,

On Monday August 31, he took up the challenge of trimming our bushes.  He can usually do that all at once, this time he took a break twice because it started bothering his shoulder – but he did it!

On Saturday night (Ian’s seventh birthday) we went to Jere and Kristen’s to celebrate.  He wanted a jungle theme this year.

He is a great seven-year-old, who is serious at times, but also loves to have fun.  He loves school, and enjoys first grade.

It is fun to go to a seven-year-old’s birthday party.
