Installing Two Shop Windows for Deb
Saturday, September 26
We were up early enough to enjoy a pretty sunrise on the way to our daughter Deb’s house.
Roy, David, and Zachary helping Cerwin unload the truck.
The first job was to remove the interior siding where a window would be installed.
Jeff, David, and Zachary
David pulled nails from lumber that had been removed.
Zachary taking my breakfast order. Deb was serving egg sandwiches, and prepared order sheets for the boys. We had a variety of choices of meat and bread.
Frying ham
Preparing eggs
David delivering my half sandwich.
Back at the shop, Deb’s Amish neighbor Daniel arrived to give assistance with his tools and expertise.
First window opening is finished
Snowy is interested in what is going on outside.
Mickey can hardly handle being inside the house with all the activity in the yard.
Deb finally gave the boys permission to let him outside.
Mickey just ran and ran while the boys chased her.
Jeff finishing a window. Daniel is going to finish the outside trip at a later date.
The guys were happy to have the job finished by the middle of the afternoon.
I enjoyed checking out the pretty foliage in Deb’s yard – not far from the shop.

Tomorrow night: A family reunion and a birthday party.
