Birds, Bologna, and Beauty
Thursday, November 12
I am seeing more birds these days – partly due to the weather and partly due to the fact that I am more faithful in keeping the feeders filled as cold weather approaches.
Most of them are finches and sparrows, but they are still fun to watch.
Coming in to join friends.
Hope they don’t mind if I eat with them.
Remember the buck Cerwin got with a bow the other week?
On Thursday night we picked up six pounds of steak…
…and seventy-five pound of sweet bologna – four bags like this.
Cerwin’s part of freezing the bologna was to put one pound into each quart-sized FoodSaver bag.
I used the FoodSaver to prepare sixty-five bags for the freezer. We gave the other ten pounds to the family who owns the land where he hunts.
While driving home from the butcher shop, we saw the most beautiful sunset.
So what does a photographer do while waiting for her husband to put gas in the car – experiment with light-settings on nearby lights.
