 While the overhang of our house roof was being given a primer coat, there was a lot of other activity going on in our yard.  Notice Diana on the left – preparing to make a running leap.

 I’m thinking how many bones I would break if I did this, but it is exactly what I would have been doing at her age.

 These two buckets of water were in the yard, incase it was needed at the burn pile.

 He played here for a long time – dipping water from one bucket to the other.

 It was especially fun for him to give Gloria a bucket full of water for the mud pies she and Jared were making under the tree.

  That takes me back sixty years when I loved to make mud pies on the rarely-traveled road next to my dad’s barn.

Tomorrow night I will post pictures of our supper and birthday party for Jared.
