A Special Dinner & Lunch
Sunday Morning, March 7
Following our busy morning at the missions conference, sub sandwiches for lunch, and a restful afternoon, David and Trisha took us to a fabulous restaurant in the neighboring town of Media.
We were surrounded by beautiful paintings.
My delicious meal – a crab and shrimp salad.
Jenny-pup is David and Trisha’s much-loved dog. I caught this cute picture of her waiting for someone to let her inside on Sunday morning. She had been outside for a short morning break.
She is the gracious and quiet “Queen of the house.”
She is also an attraction at the truck stop when David and Trisha are on duty at the chapel in Elkton, Maryland.
Hors devours
Following Sunday School (David and Trisha shared about the ministry of TFC with a young adult class) and church (a young Wycliffe missionary spoke), the missionaries and missions committee were honored with a delicious lunch.
We were blessed to have some of the young people from Aldan Union serve us.
The same room that was filled with missionary displays at the pancake breakfast yesterday, was transformed into an elegant room filled with flowers and beautifully decorated tables.
The delicious dessert concluded our time at the conference.
Thank you, Aldan Union Church, for honoring TFC.
Special thanks to David and Trisha for hosting us.
