Update on Cerwin’s Surgery

&

Wedding of Vincent Ross & Kate Elizabeth

 

First, an update on Cerwin – Monday, June 15.  

He is doing very well, and began taking a daily walk to get some exercise.

 

 

He has been sleeping in the Laz-E-Boy since his surgery on Thursday, but is getting tired of that, and tried getting in and out of bed this morning.  Because the test was successful, and the therapist and surgeon agreed he is ready for the change, he is going to try sleeping in bed tonight.

 

 

His second therapy session went well this afternoon.  The therapist said he was pleased with Cerwin’s mobility.  Because I have to drive him to the therapist, and Curves is next door (same building), I am going to sign up there, and so something positive during the one hour wait.

 

 

After the appointment with the therapist, we went to the surgeon for a followup visit.  The doctor had pictures of the tear, and explained how difficult it was to repair.  However, he was pleased with the results.

Vince & Katie’s Wedding

Me and my youngest brother Steve, the father of the bride.  Cerwin was not able to go to the wedding, so I took our granddaughter Lydia who is visiting from Maine.  (She was delighted to attend!)

I didn’t use the flash during the ceremony, so they aren’t perfect pictures, but at least the family members who couldn’t attend can get a visual of the ceremony.

Katie presented the rose to her parents and hugged both sets of parents as well.  The pictures make it appear like she just stood in the aisle.  However these were the best photos.
