Parade of Trucks ~ Returning to the Fairgrounds

 

 

 

The truck that was fourth from the lead met the end of the parade at the area where I was standing.

 

 

 

 

Paul & Michelle Rissler’s beautiful Peterbilt was chosen as Best of Show by the judging team.

 

 

 

 

I change positions quite a few times during the parade, and end up at my favorite spot – sitting on the grass at the west entrance as trucks return to the fairgrounds.

 

 

 

 

This little guy made sure there was a lot of horn blowing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Children love the opportunity to ride with parents and grandparents.  Because the parade moves slowly (eight to fifteen miles per hour), they can sit on dad’s lap…

 

 

…or look out the sleeper door.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The truck parkers job is finished. 

I missed a great photo op when these guys high-fived just before I took this picture.
