Children’s Activities
Rose Gehman (who was in charge of the children’s activities), picks up a ball in a miniature golf challenge. Our granddaughter Lydia helped with a few games.
The Big Bright Bounces Obstacle Slide was a popular place during the afternoon.
Little ones were cautious at first.
However, it didn’t take more than one slide to convince them to try again.
The bigger children loved to bounce their way down the big slide.
The pedal pull is enjoyed by all ages. The weights in the sled vary according to age.
As you get near this event, you will hear the familiar sound of George Eby calling, “Pedal, pedal, pedal.”
I enjoyed watching this young girl do a great job in the Garden Tractor Roadeo Course – and it appeared that it was one of her first times on a garden tractor.
I think there was always someone waiting for the train.
It was a great way for the little ones to see the trucks and other areas of the fairgrounds.
At 4:30 Jim Rule presented a great children’s program.
He had everyone listening and smiling.
Learning a lesson about “letting your light shine.”
I love seeing parents and children smiling!
