July Fourth Celebration

At Jere & Kristen’s House

New Things

 

 

I think it was July 3 when Ian called us to say he had learned to ride a two-wheel bike – without training wheels.

 

 

 

 

The next day Jared called to say that Ian taught him how to ride, and that Dad had taken the training wheels off his bike!

 

 

Now they are both dashing around the driveway.

 

 

Jesse wanted to show me his “wheels” and how fast he can go.

 

 

This was a few hours before he broke his elbow.

 

 

Move over Tiger Woods!

 

 

He really whacked it a few times.

 

 

After Ian was tired of riding bike, he asked if I wanted to see the new potting shed that his dad was building for his mom.  What a neat place for storing garden tools and supplies.

 

 

Then he said, “Watch me tie Dad’s shoe?”  This was something else he just learned a day or two earlier.

 

 

Next he took me to the deck to show me the tent where he, Jared, and their dad had slept the night before.
