Photos From Early June
Somehow these pictures were put on a back burner – due to an incredibly busy June.
A custom-made tick-tack-toe game from Maine.
What a clever thing to do with a concrete mix.
Thanks Hannah – and I understand Hezekiah helped as well.
Due to Cerwin’s surgery, Lydia learned to mow yard by using our riding mower within days of arriving at our house for the summer. She went very slowly at first, but now one month later she is mowing at a normal speed.
It has become one of her favorite jobs at our house.
Labeling and mailing several thousand single issues of the Highway News, and inviting four or five people to help, is part of my normal routine each month.
It was interesting to find this picture from mid-June, because the field crew is doing the same thing today. One big difference is the height of the corn.
The corn has now grown quite tall in most fields.
Jana wanted to come visit one day, so Lydia walked to meet her. Jana lives about a mile from our house.
When Jana is here, she usually finds something to cook. I think she is making an omelet in this picture.
Blueberry muffins
Brownies
One night we met Roy and Deb at Outback for dinner – a gift for Cerwin for Father’s Day.
It was the first time I saw Roy’s Harley.
Maybe I should buy one of these things.
I bet I would be popular with our grandsons! ![]()
