Cousins’ Week

Another Fun Day

Oh, Jesse, who gave you a whole donut?

(I think it was one of the big boys, as this was from the stash of things they bought last night.)

This is what our garage meal table looks like after a load of laundry.

I do the laundry and fold it, then the children have to find their items and put them in their suitcase.

We had what farmers call a “million dollar rain” this morning – then again in the afternoon and evening.  The corn is very happy.

“Look at me, Grandma.”

…and he’s off to find another outfit.

Ian wanted to show you his ring.

What fabulous models – Jared, Ian, and Gloria.

“I don’t like this dress.  It keeps getting caught in my toes.” – Jared

Oh, Jesse, what have they done to you?

These are delicious.

We found a great job for Jesse while he waited for supper.

He loved pulling the grapes off the stems – but he doesn’t like to eat them.

“Grandma, come quickly!  We found a slug on the shovel.”

Jared was the only one brave enough to touch it.

Now it’s about time for bed.  Jordan is eating ice cream.

Jared and Ian are sleeping.

Nate is racing cars.

Josh is back home after a school, pool party, and the girls are in bed – meaning the house is quiet.  Quiet!  I haven’t heard that sound – or lack thereof – for quite a few hours.

Cerwin called this afternoon to say that he and Jake arrived at the Fergus Truck Show, and were set up for the weekend.

It was a fun day!
