I Love Creative Grandchildren!

Three grandsons were sleeping at our house last night – and all wanted to sleep in the guest room.  The room is set up with a single bed and trundle.  Jordan (left) figured that if they put the single beds fairly close together, a single mattress from the attic would fit on top – and there would be room for everyone.  Real clever I thought!

It worked pretty well until they started clowning – and Josh (in the middle) hit the floor!  It was so funny.  Consequently Nathan (right) lowered his bed – the trundle – and turned it the other direction with part of it under the single bed.  They did the same thing with Josh’s mattress.  I think they went to sleep after that!

Chuck-E-Cheese’s

…a combination birthday gift and reward for faithfully helping Grandpa with TFC chapel construction and helping with our downed trees.

After two hours of nonstop game playing we did a bit of shopping, then went to the hospital to visit their Great Grandma.  (I told her yesterday that I was bringing three young men to see her.)  She enjoyed their visit, and it was good for them to visit the ICU.  They were intrigued by the monitors displaying her heart beat, pulse, blood pressure, etc.

What fun to spend a day with these guys!
