The Pottery is Finished

Some of you will remember that we had a girls day out a few weeks ago.

I found out on Thursday that everything was glazed and fired – and ready for pickup.  Of course the girls wanted to go along.

On the way home they talked me into stopping at McDonalds for lunch.

 

 

Our first stop was at Jenna, Diana, and Gloria’s house.  Jenna was anxious to see her moms (Chris) dish.

 

 

 

 

Kristen had been away, so stopped in at our house to pick up her plate.

 

 

Abigail is back in Maine, so has to wait to see hers.

Our daughter Deb picked up her bowl when getting the pieces she and her friends did several days later.  I got to see it on Sunday when she served green beans in it.

Painting pottery was a fun memory-making day for us, and everyone seemed pleased with their piece, so I expect it will happen again sometime.
