Squirrel Feeder

I was pleased to see a squirrel in the “corn wreath” this morning.  It’s been here about one month, and this is the first time I saw something eating from it.

I enjoyed watching as he leaned over to reach corn on the bottom side…

…and almost fell off!

He got a belly full by the time I chased him away.  I knew he’d be back, and I wanted to see how he got there.

Just as I thought.  He climbed the tree…

…went out on a branch…

…and jumped.

I’d much rather see a squirrel here than in one of my bird feeders.
