Traveling Home from Maine
Since this was our granddaughter Abigail’s first time of driving from Maine to Pennsylvania, she decided to follow us. I spent the entire ten hours in her vehicle. She is spending a few months with our son, Jere, his wife Kristen, and their five children.
Abigail did a great job of driving and keeping an eye on grandpa’s car – while I read a book.
I don’t usually have (or take) time to read books, but the bluegrass festival gave me that opportunity, and I became “hooked” on the three-book Little Hickman Creek Series by Sharlene MacLaren.
Cerwin’s passenger was Andrew Bucher – cleaning our CRV windows while Cerwin filled the gas tank. He plans to spend a month or so helping on the farm of a Pennsylvania uncle.
