Jakey & Crystal’s Wedding

Part 1

A Rainy Day

 

 

This afternoon was the wedding of our niece Crystal and Jason (Jakey).  It was good the ceremony was planned to be held in their church, Saint Anne Catholic, because Hurricane Hanna was traveling through and brought pouring rain.

 

 

Deciding how to get the wedding dress into the church without getting it wet.

 

 

Our daughter Deb had wedding-dress-carrying duty.

 

 

Others brought in various wedding supplies – trying to keep them dry under an umbrella.

 

 

The bride makes sure her dress hangs out nicely and any dampness dries before she puts it on.

Crystal checks to see if the rain stopped – but it was raining even harder than when they arrived.

 

 

It was still pouring when guests began to arrive, bringing out an interesting variety of umbrellas
