Jakey & Crystal’s Wedding
Part 2
Getting Ready
Girls always have so much to do to get ready for a wedding.
Our daughter Deb closing a hook for Marie (bride’s aunt).
Removing a tag or string for Jessica.
Helping each other – Deb, Stephanie, and Angie.
John (father of groom), Bryan, and Ted (brothers of bride)
After guys get dressed, it seems that all they have to do is remove lint from tuxedos and adjust hankies.
When Jakey saw me with a camera, he exaggerated the fact that he was removing lint from the back of his slacks.
The girls are adding jewelry.
Pretty heart necklaces
Earrings
Patti (mother of the bride) getting ready to add the top to her pretty yellow dress.
A few adjustments are needed…
…and a tag needs to be removed.
Meanwhile Jakey makes a last minute mirror check…
…then visits with his soon-to-be-father-in-law (Cerwin’s brother, Elvin).
It’s time to dress Faith – the tiny flower girl.
That responsibility fell on her mom, Angie.
So cute!
“But Dad! I want to listen to my iPod.”
Ted (oldest brother of the bride) and his son Trenton.
The girls begin working on their eyes
The guys are ready and hanging out with Cerwin. He was with them because I was scurrying around taking pictures. (His job was to keep track of my camera bags.)
I’ll let you in on more wedding preparations tomorrow night.
