Part 3

More Preparations

 

 

A program attendant needs her sash tied.

 

 

A loose wedding ring is discovered.

 

 

Since things were wrapping up in the girls room (the guys were ready the last time I visited their room), I decided to check out the sanctuary.

 

 

The altar is simple and attractive.

 

 

Pretty mums make me think fall is coming.

 

 

Pew ribbons add an atmosphere of celebration.

 

 

Candles are ready for lighting

 

 

The Bible is open for the first reading.

 

 

The harpist is practicing.

 

 

I’d like to stay and listen, but there are more places and rooms to explore.

 

 

I found the priest – Reverend Steven – making sure the marriage license was in its correct spot.

 

 

I met someone carrying the guest book to its spot on the hall podium.

 

 

The groom was giving last minute instructions to a program attendant.

 

 

They’re ready for the first guest.

 

 

 

 

Back in the girls room, I found the daughter part of Mother & Daughter Photography aiming her camera at me.

 

 

Deb and I are excited and nervous to be responsible for the day’s photos.

 

 

It’s a sure sign that preparations are complete when the bride has time for a cookie.  She will need that, because it will be a long time until the reception.
