My Brother & Sister-in-Law’s Party
Dale & Dot Are Married Forty Years
Dale and his grandson Jake
Dale is my oldest brother, however I am older than him.
Dot and their grandson Jake. Jake, how did you manage to get on both of these pictures?
They chose to celebrate their fortieth anniversary at a local restaurant and invite their immediate family – Saturday, September 13 – the day before their anniversary.
The meal was their gift to us.
We weren’t too far into the meal when someone accidentally bumped something against a glass, and that got everyone to tapping on glasses – proposing that they kiss. They were very willing.
Their daughter Sarah with her daughter Katie.

This was also our anniversary – the forty-fifth – notice my corsage and Cerwin’s black eye! The corsage was a gift from Cerwin. The black eye was not my gift to him.
He was helping a grandson assemble a gun cabinet when a piece of wood slipped and hit him.
Our oldest son Jeff and his wife, Chris.
Our youngest son Jere and his wife, Kristen
Our youngest daughter Deb and her friend, Roy.
Following the meal we enjoyed a slide show – which was very interesting and lots of fun.
