A Surprise Visitor!
I was preparing a salad for supper when someone walked into the house through our small garage door. That in itself is not too unusual as several family members live nearby, but when I looked up to see who had entered, I was surprised! It was our grandson, Josiah – from Maine.

He and two friends spent the day driving here from Maine – to attend our church’s youth retreat this weekend. It was fun to spend some time with him, before he went to Jere and Kristen’s place for supper.
I’m still getting used to having postgraduate grandchildren who are mature enough to do this kind of thing.
