There Are Five Grandchildren Here Tonight
Their mom and dad are enjoying an evening break by going out to eat (to celebrate his birthday), then joining her coworkers from the doctor’s office at the Kirk Cameron movie, Fireproof, that opened tonight.
After supper, Josh practiced darts in Cerwin’s woodshop.
I helped Jana with a plastic canvas piece she started several weeks ago. She found a finished piece in my stitching box and wanted to make a similar one. I used to help Native girls make these when we taught summer Bible school at Pikagikum in Northwestern Ontario.
Later she helped Ian play Candyland on an old laptop.
Ian – eating a lifesaver gummy.
Jared – with ink on his forehead.
Ian and Jared playing GameCube.
Jesse just wandered around – carrying things, crawling over things, and looking cute.
Cerwin relaxed anytime there wasn’t someone on his lap or asking him to play a game.
It seems like a long time since they have been here. They have an in-house nanny since our granddaughter, Abigail came to Pennsylvania in August – but she left for our church’s youth retreat tonight.
