A Day in Our Lives
I was surprised to see a pair of Eastern Bluebirds this morning. I haven’t seen them since June.
I was pleased to catch this picture of one in flight – and I was just trying to get a shot of the two of them together.
Then we were on the road to complete a variety of tasks.
First we stopped at a nearby restaurant to check out their small banquet room – to make sure things are finalized for Monday evening when Cerwin’s family will get together to visit with his youngest sister, her husband, and daughter who are in the area from Minnesota.
I took this picture while waiting at a traffic light.
Our next stop was AC Moore to look for an 8 x 12 frame for this chapel photo. They don’t carry them, so we decided to go with an 11 x 14 and mat it. I am glad we did, because it looks even better matted. This was a photo I took when we delivered the chapel to British Columbia in April. We were parked at a small truck stop near Livingston, Montana.
We then delivered one photo to Brad Plank (Trans Equipment) who has painted several of our chapels.
This is what a chapel looks like when it leaves his shop.
Our next stop was with Charlie Eckert (right) who has lettered about 90% of our chapels Only God could have planned that Mark Zimmerman (left) was also there. He is a co-owner of Paul B. Zimmerman (steel fabrication division), and builds our chapel steps. We also have a photo for him.

On the way home, we saw this clever display of pumpkins on an early ’50s Plymouth.
A straw bale with hubcap eyes.
Another smiley bale.

It was a rewarding day!
