Another Entry About Family & Food
Today was the Sauder luncheon at Oregon Dairy. This part of the family is Mother High’s siblings, nieces and nephews – and every now and then someone from the next generation.
The waitresses taking orders from table one.
There were twenty-four of us in their meeting room.
Table two checking out the menu. I wanted to get a picture of Cerwin and his cousin Wesley (backs to camera), but neither of the two photos turned out well (closed eyes). Today was the first time I realized that they look a lot like each other.
A brother and sister in serious conversation. (Leon and Anna are Uncle Aaron and Aunt Edna’s children. Both parents are deceased.)
Our niece Judi (from Minnesota), Cerwin’s sister Velda and her husband Mel.
Two more of Uncle Aaron’s daughters (Velma and Phoebe) with Velma’s daughter in the middle.
Cerwin’s cousin Resie pouring coffee for her dad, Uncle Amos. Uncle John is at the end of the table.
Cousin Ruth and her mother Aunt Naomi
Cousin Resie and Uncle Amos
Today was Cousin Phoebe’s birthday.
We liked the restaurant’s candle – a sparkler.

What fun to see everybody again. This luncheon is held every three months, but we are not always able to attend.
