Building a Gun Cabinet
Our grandson Jordan needed to choose a graduation project for his senior year of high school, as well as a mentor to work with him. Mentors can not be parents, so who better to teach him than grandpa.
The project began with construction plans and the purchase of lumber.
He’s ready to begin.
Jordan cutting plywood to the correct length.
Gluing and clamping
Checking to see if the walls are square
Base cabinet (for ammunition).
More gluing and clamping
Attaching hinges
Installing small, door shelves
Completed interior
Finished oak veneer, ten-gun cabinet

Good job, Jordan
