An Evening of Ensemble and Jazz Music
We went to to the local middle school to see our granddaughter, Jenna, play violin and sing in the vocal ensemble.
Instead of the entire orchestra, songs were presented in ensembles.
The evening opened with a “percussion” ensemble. The students played cans, boxes, glass, pieces of wood, etc. It was really quite good. I was so impressed that I forgot to take pictures of the group, plus there was a lot of moving around.

Jenna was in this group, but hidden from us either by people or the music stand on the left.
Someone discovered that we could see her in the reflection (on the right) in the glass railing on the edge of the auditorium.

We learned in the introduction that music is to the soul what water is to the body.
