Rainy Days

 

 

I think today (Thursday) was the first day this week that we did not have rain.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday evening we had a downpour

 

 

 

 

It was almost more than our spouts and down drains could handle.

 

 

 

 

Trees were heavy from the pouring rain.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tuesday was a warm, sunny, unsettled day, then during the afternoon we saw rain approaching again – coming from the south.

 

 

Turning driveways into small streams

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wednesday afternoon another thunderstorm came from the southwest.

 

 

Because our house faces southwest, and there are open fields in that direction, I could watch the rain approaching.

 

 

 

 

With warm, rainy days, it feels like we are living in a rainforest .  I think if I sat next to a field of corn, I could watch it grow!
