Bible School

I am always amazed at how many children and adults attend our Vacation Bible School.  This photo was taken from the balcony after classes were over, and everyone had gathered in the sanctuary.  The attendance chart said there were 574 there on this night – Thursday.

While standing during closing prayer, I took a photo to the right…

…then to the left so you can get a better idea of the number of people in attendance.

Thursday night is parents’ night, when the children have opportunity to take parents and grandparents to their classroom.  This is Jenna with her Connect-Four game.

It will look like this when it is finished.

He was pleased to know his Bible verse.

And he loved his shirt.  Notice his hand prints.  That’s our son, Jere, (his Dad) to his left.

Ian was looking so serious, maybe because he was still struggling with his Bible verse.  He could say it with a bit of help, but not quite good enough to say to the teacher – and he really wanted to win a prize.

When I told him that he was looking too serious, I got this!

Our teachers do an amazing job of decorating their rooms, choosing crafts, and sharing God’s principles.  I am sure that is why our own church families and neighboring families enjoy our Bible School.

Great  job – superintendants and teachers.
