Five Grandchildren Were Here For the Evening

 

The most popular item was the Air Climber, because this is the first time they have seen it.

 

Jana walked so long that her cheeks were bright pink.

 

Ian and Jared each took their turn.

 

Jesse just took everything in from his infant seat.

 

Josh wanted to taste one of my fruit smoothies…

 

…and gave his approval.

 

After supper Josh and Ian played Backyard Football.

 

Because the little boys want to do plastic canvas stitching like Jana – but it is too complicated – I bought some beads at a craft store the other week.

 

Jana thought they looked like fun, so I showed her how to stitch them to her counted cross stitch squares.

 

She decided to make a J for Jana

 

Ian played his favorite GameCube game, “Cars.”

 

When I found these foam beads, I knew the boys would like them – and they did.

 

Jared was the first one to start a string of beads.

 

Jesse continued entertaining himself and watching the others.

 

His claim to fame tonight was showing us his brand new teeth…

 

…and drinking a bottle.
